Message from Pastor Don July 12th 2020

Reflecting from Psalm 65:9 You visit the earth and water it abundantly; you make it very plenteous; the river of God is full of water.
You prepare the grain, for so you provide for the earth.
10You drench the furrows and smooth out the ridges;
with heavy rain you soften the ground and bless its increase.

Well with more people gardening and the hot days, we are waiting for the Lord to bless us with some rain. Rain always works better than city water and my rain barrels could use a refill. I store as much rain water as I can for the weeks without rain.

I have a small bit of container gardening and see some signs of blooms becoming fruit. I am closely watching a pineapple I have growing to see it wiil produce. There is so much we can do to reproduce the plants God has given us. Harvesting seeds and plants from the produce we consume to replant and grow more is a wonderful gift of ongoing creation.

I enjoy watching the process as I enjoy seeing my family and friends grow in their relationship with our Heavenly Father This week has been about seed and soil blessing us. It is also a time to bless others.
