Message from Pastor Taylor ~ July 14th 2020

Psalm 86: 11 Teach me your way, O Lord, and I will walk in your truth;
give me an undivided heart to revere your name.
12 I will thank you, O Lord my God, with all my heart,
and glorify your name forevermore.
13 For great is your love toward me;

These words from the Psalms are a good reminder that we are on a journey all of a marathon and none of a sprint in our relationship with God. We are open to new teachings each day. Sometimes those teachings have been about evil that is done. Sometimes the teachings are repeat lessons that we have forgotten or ignored. Sometimes we are just learning about good and our good and gracious God who teaches us, loves us, and frees us from sin. This week our lessons help to remind us that good and evil co-exist and we are to choose good.

The weigh in will be on the day of our personal harvest. Try to live each day in the love of God and neighbor. Then you will shine like the sun and not burn up like Texas is feeling now
